South East, NY - $1 Original Fr. 380a The Croton River National Bank Ch. # 830 PMG Very Fine 20.This offering is from a very scarce Putnam County bank that issued only Original Series notes for nine years before liquidating in 1874. Eleven survivors are listed in the latest census with most of them in rather well worn condition. While it has had some repairs, this nicely margined Ace is very attractive for the grade with pleasing color and legible pen signatures.
