Sherburne, NY - $10 1875 Fr. 416 The Sherburne National Bank Ch. # 1166 PMG Very Fine 20.This Chenango County bank issued only $10 examples in Series 1875 notes, with this example one of only two listed in the census. Neither example has made a public appearance since we sold the other known piece in our 2010 ANA auction. This offering is slightly the finer of the pair with solid paper, pleasing color, and dark pen signatures. Its only detracting factor is some writing solely on the back.
