Salem, NY - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 598 The Salem NB Ch. # (E)7588From 2007 where it was cataloged, "This Good-Very Good example from rural Washington County is just the third Large Size note to surface from here and only the second $5 Plain Back. What it lacks in condition is more than made up for by its rarity. While four banks were at one time or another located here, only two issued the $5 Plain Backs.
