Potsdam, NY - $2 1875 Fr. 390 The National Bank of Potsdam Ch. # 868 PMG Very Fine 20.A scarce Potsdam bank, with this institution issuing First and Second Charter notes only before falling into receivership in 1897. While seven deuces are known from this bank, most of them are in wretched condition with various problems. This piece, which Dick purchased in Bill Donlon's June 28, 1974 sale, is unmolested and perfect for the grade.
