New York, NY - $1 Original Fr. 380 The Tenth NB Ch. # 307
First Charters only were issued by this better New York City bank. This was the highest of the numerically titled institutions to receive a charter, a distinction New York City shared only with Philadelphia (although Philadelphia lacked several numerical charters between one and ten). PCGS Very Good 8 Net, with some repaired splits and stains.
