Mohawk, NY - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 480 The National Mohawk Valley Bank Ch. # 1130 PMG Very Fine 30.This pretty note is from the sole issuer in this Herkimer County community that is located between Little Falls and Utica in the scenic Mohawk River Valley. It is new to the census and joins the "B" note from the same sheet that we auctioned six years ago. Displaying excellent color and dark pen signatures, it also represents the earlier, and scarcer, variety of $10 Brown Backs with the vertical charter number.
