Description

Crete, NE - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 624 The First NB Ch. # (W)2706
Fewer than a dozen examples are known on this scarce Saline County bank that closed its doors in 1919. While not in the league with a First Charter $5 from here that sold a few years ago for $23,000, this is an attractive Third Charter note that will fit nicely in a collection of Cornhusker State material. PCGS Very Fine 25, with bold purple stamped signatures.
