of Commerce Ch. # 4178 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ★ .An outstanding $10 Brown Back from this prolific St. Louis issuer that has supplied many great type notes to collectors over the years. This example displays vivid colors on both front and back, and the embossing, which is often obscured by the elaborate design details, remains bold and easily visible through the third party holder. The corners are sharp and deep, and the hand written signatures are quite attractive. Not surprisingly, it has also received PMG's "?" designation for exceptional eye appeal. Last May, we sold a PCGS Gem New 66PPQ example for $6,000.
