Laurel, MS - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The Laurel National Bank
Ch. # (S)6923 PMG Fine 12.When we offered this great Mississippi rarity in our 2019 FUN auction, it was the first note to be reported from this short-lived charter that issued Red Seals only between 1903 and 1905. We also noted that this $10 was attractive and problem free for the grade with decent color and dark pen signatures. That night, it fetched $12,000 and now, six years later, it is once again available for one fortunate collector. It is still unique today and should certainly approach or exceed that previous realization.
