St. Paul National Bank Ch. # (M)2959 Uncut Pair PMG Choice About
Unc 58 EPQ.This lot features two of the four notes from the first sheet of $5 Red Seals from this St. Paul bank that have been, uniquely, cut into two uncut pairs. This pair consists of the "C" and "D" plate position notes, and they are lovely with bright, white paper, a vibrant red overprint, and bold pen signatures. The signatures are those of bank officers A.C. Anderson and W.B. Geery who served together from just 1903 to 1905. These two notes are part of only a dozen or so Number 1 Red Seals known from all Minnesota banks. This is a wonderful pair fit for the finest of collections.
