Faribault, MN - $5 Original Fr. 398 The First NB Ch. # 1686 PMG Very Fine 20 Net.First and Second Charter notes only from this scarce Rice County bank that was closed by the receiver in 1905. Just a dozen notes are reported from here including four Original Series Fives. However, of that quartet, this is the first specimen to cross the auction block since 2001. Despite some evidence of a previous mounting on the back and slight damage in the left margin, this note maintains a pleasing appearance with sharp ink colors and dark pen signatures.
