Cass Lake, MN - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 624 The First NB Ch. # 6352Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes," all of which seemed, as one time, to have an adjoining town featuring the word "Lake" in its title. This community was no exception, with this the town's sole issuer. Although six large notes are reported, only one has been available at public sale since 1990, and the bank was missing in large size from even as massive a Minnesota assemblage as the Melamed collection.
