Brainerd, MN - $10 1875 Fr. 420 The First NB Ch. # 2590A most attractive First Charter note from this scarce north central Minnesota bank that is one of only a dozen or so large size reported and the only 1875 $10. Its colors and design details are especially vivid with the back vignette having a three-dimensional look to it. The note is also well margined with solid paper for the grade. In the Melamed Collection sale almost eight years ago, the bidders recognized the appeal of this pretty note as it brought a strong $7,475. PMG Very Fine 30, and another opportunity for today's generation of Minnesota collectors.
