Durand, MI - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 477 The First NB Ch. # (M)5415A very rare $5 Brown Back from a bank which issued Brown Backs only for less than nine years before liquidating in 1909. Three notes are known, two of which are closely held, with this the third example. Pen signed Fine, with a repaired tear that is not visible on the face.
