Springfield, MA - $5 1875 First Charter Fr. 404 The Chapin NB Ch. #2435The horizontal borders of this desirable early type are typically tight and quarter folds are more easily recognized on the reverse. Because its charter did not expire until 1899, notes under the First Charter were issued for #2435 well after the Second Charter period began. A brightly colored Fine-Very Fine.
