Description

Leicester, MA - $5 1875 Fr. 401 The Leicester National Bank Ch. # 918 PMG Very Fine 20.
This note hails from a very scarce Worcester County bank which issued First Charters and Brown Backs only before closing its doors in 1904. A mere six examples comprise the entire census, with this offering the only 1875 $5 reported. It is a pleasing, moderately circulated note with good remaining color and signatures and just minor edge tears.
