Bank Ch. # (N)909 PMG Very Fine 25.A great note from the second of this small Sagadahoc County location's two banks is offered here. This rare charter closed its doors in 1910 after issuing large notes only. This $20 Red Seal, which bears low serial number 5, is the finest of just eight pieces overall in the census, most of which are very low grade. It is an attractive, pen signed example with excellent color for the grade and just even, problem free wear. It is also one of fewer than a dozen and a half examples of this type and denomination reported for all Maine banks.
