Fort Fairfield, ME - $20 1929 Ty. 1 The Fort Fairfield National
Bank Ch. # 4781 PMG Very Fine 25.An extremely rare bank from a small town in the far northern reaches of the Pine Tree State issued this $20. It is one of only four small size in the census from this charter (along with a solitary large note) and is the first example to be publicly offered in over seven years. This evenly circulated note has nice color and solid paper.
