Caribou, ME - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 624 The Caribou National
Bank Ch. # (N)6190 PMG Very Fine 25 Net.This very rare note comes from a bank that bears one of a classic town name from the state of Maine. It is one of just three large size reported from the sole issuer in this remote Maine location, and represents a bank that was closed by the receiver in 1934. Crossing the auction block for the first time, it does have some repairs and discoloration, but maintains a more than acceptable appearance for the assigned grade.
