Peoria, IL- $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 477 The Illinois NB Ch. # (M)5361A very scarce Peoria bank which issued only Brown Backs and Second Charter Date Backs before liquidating in 1915. The Kelly census shows just two examples known from here. This piece is new to the census, and, despite two small splits, is the highest grade example from here we know of. Very Fine.
