A simply gorgeous note from this rare Chicago bank that has everything a collector would ask for. Hailing from a bank that was closed by the receiver in 1896, this near-Gem, well margined Original Series Five has the appearance of a note that rolled off the press this morning, with vibrant color and bold two-color pen signatures. It also features a great bank title layout and low serial number 2 as a bonus. This is a great note for the Chicago specialist or any collector who appreciates "old time quality" Nationals.
