Boise City, ID - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 484 The First National
Bank of Idaho Ch. # 1668 PMG Fine 12.With this Brown Back, just twenty-five are reported for the entire state in all denominations combined; making this a very rare Idaho type. It is also only the third Brown Back reported from this bank, the first to be chartered in Idaho. Interestingly, the bank elected to issue notes with only the state name in the tombstone, rather than the normal city designation. It is an evenly circulated example, with excellent color for the grade and housed in a comment-free holder. A significant Idaho rarity.
