Shellman, GA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 The First NB Ch. # 8417An exceptionally rare note from the only bank to issue in this south Georgia hamlet. While the Kelly census shows three large and four small examples extant, all must be very closely held, as our records show only one offering of any kind from here during the past sixty years, with that coming when we sold a large and a small example from here in our June, 1995 Memphis auction. Nice Fine+, with purple signatures, a truly rare note from a bank which had only $830 outstanding in large by 1935.
