Winter Haven, FL - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 608 The NB of Winter Haven Ch. # (S)12100While ten large notes are known bearing this title, the first used here, actual appearances at public sale have been very limited, with Track and Price showing just two (both of the same note) since 1998. This well circulated piece has been graded Good 6 Net by PMG, with the notation "Margin Repairs" on the back of the holder. While there certainly are a few margin repairs, this seems far too harsh an evaluation of what is otherwise a more than acceptable note from a just plain scarce bank. Our estimate may well prove conservative on this lot.
