West Palm Beach, FL - $5 1929 Ty. 1 West Palm Beach Atlantic NB Ch. # 13300Although chartered in March of 1929, this bank elected to issue small notes only. While ten notes are listed from here in the census, most have been very closely held over the years, with Track and Price showing only two offerings of any kind at public sale since 1993, the last coming when we sold a Fine 15 example in September of 2005 for $5750. The Sunshine State Collection example is a virtual twin of that note, grading PMG Choice Fine 15 and displaying no problems whatever. Expect a similar result by the time the hammer falls this evening on this much in demand item.
