Unique Federal-American NB Small Size

Washington, DC - $5 1929 Ty. 1 Federal-American National Bank Ch. # 10316 PMG Very Fine 20.
This is a wonderful new discovery that will allow one fortunate collector to finally complete a set of all small-size charters from our nation's capital. Eleven charters issued 1929 Series notes in the District of Columbia and, while ten of them are relatively common, the Federal-American was unknown in small undoubtedly due to the fact that it failed in 1933. That all changes with the surfacing of this $5. It has seen its share of circulation but it maintains solid paper for the grade and is housed in a comment-free holder. Expect serious bidding tonight from the DC collectors for this unique piece.
