Washington, DC - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 474 The Riggs NB Ch. # (E)5046 PMG About Uncirculated 53.This high-grade note is one of the nicest $5 Brown Backs extant from this institution, which for generations was known as the "Bank of Presidents," as many of our nation's chief executives maintained banking ties with the Riggs NB. Aside from a very small repaired split, this is a bright and original piece with vibrant color and dark printed signatures.
