Washington, DC - $100 1902 Plain Back Fr. 702a Federal-American NB Ch. # (E)10316 PMG Very Fine 25.One of only a handful of $100 Plain Backs known from the District, with this institution the sole issuer of this type and denomination. The last reported sale in the Track & Price archive came back in 2012, where a considerably inferior specimen fetched $1,840. This piece, which displays engraved bank signatures along with the scarcer Napier-Thompson Treasury signatures, is far superior.
