Georgetown, DC - $20 1875 Fr. 432 The Farmers & Mechanics
National Bank Ch. # 1928 PMG Very Fine 20.A rare early note from this DC and the only First Charter $20 from here too make a public appearance since 1985. We last handled this great note in our May 1998 and it is a most attractive piece with bright paper, wide margins, and excellent color for the grade. PMG has noted some minor restorations but any such repairs have only served to enhance the eye appeal of this tough DC note.
