Waterbury, CT - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 490 The Manufacturers NB Ch. # (N)2494This is one of the very scarcest Connecticut banks to find in large size, almost certainly because the bank opted to redeem its circulation after issuing First Charters, Brown Backs and 1882 Date Backs only. Only three examples are known, with none having been offered at public sale since our Connecticut collection sale in 1998.
