National Bank Ch. # (N)5231 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.A great Connecticut rarity, this is the only uncut sheet of 1882 $5 Date Backs reported from Connecticut and one of fewer than a dozen uncut 1882 Date Back sheets of all denominations known for the entire country, according to the National Currency Foundation census. Last on the market in our 2010 Memphis auction, this is a beautifully original sheet with three folds that account for the grade. The embossing is still present and the colors and signatures are still bold.
