National Bank Ch. # (N)1216 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.A lovely Red Seal from this Middlesex County bank, this piece is making its first auction appearance since 2008. The red overprint is quite bold, the margins are clear all around, and the signatures are dark and easily readable. PMG reinforces the EPQ grade modifier with the comment of "Great Embossing" on the back label. This near-Gem $5 is further enhanced by low serial number 3. It is one of two number 3 Red Seals known from this charter with no other single-digit Red Seals reported.
