Third Reported Large Size
East Port Chester, CT - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 635 The Byram NB Ch. # 12973A wonderful new addition to the census of this excessively rare Fairfield County issuer that is only the third large size to be reported. It is a beautiful, deeply embossed piece from a charter that had only a miniscule $400 outstanding in large in 1935 and, aside from light handling, appears to have rolled off the press this morning. The other two known pieces, which are comparably graded, have sold for between $6000 and $8000 over the past several years and we expect no less from this PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ specimen tonight.
