Rare San Diego Brown Back
San Diego, CA - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 472 The Merchants NB Ch. # (P)4886An attractive example which is one of just a handful of Brown Backs known from all San Diego banks combined, with this the first we've ever been privileged to handle. Even the Colver collection could only summon up a well used Blue Seal from this scarce bank. Nice Very Fine, with sharp pen signatures.
