Sacramento, CA - $5 1902 Red Seal Fr. 587 The Fort Sutter
National Bank Ch. # (P)7776 PMG About Uncirculated 50.This note is from a very tough large-only Sacramento bank with a wonderfully evocative California title. It is one of only around a dozen pieces reported, about half of which are Red Seals. This offering, which was once part of The Philip Krakover Collection sold by John Hickman in 1990, spent only a limited amount of time in circulation. It was previously mounted and, over the years, acquired toning and rust stains.
