Escondido, CA - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 598 The First National
Bank Ch. # (P)7801 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.Large notes only from this very scarce San Diego County bank that was only in business from 1905 until its liquidation in 1924. This $5 is one of the better survivors and is a note that we last offered in our 2008 FUN auction. It displays bright paper, bold ink colors, and the dark pen signature of the bank's Vice-President.
