Camden, AR - $50 1882 Brown Back Fr. 512 The Camden National
Bank Ch. # (S)4066 PMG Very Fine 25.A great rarity from any Arkansas bank, this offering is one of just five $50 Brown Backs known from all Arkansas issuers combined. Three of the known notes are from a Little Rock bank, with one each from Fort Smith and Camden, the latter being the note we are pleased to present this evening. Last on the market in our 2009 Long Beach auction, this beautiful, well margined piece is very attractive for the assigned grade with excellent color and bold pen signatures. PMG has mentioned a solitary spindle hole which truly does not affect the overall eye appeal of this great Arkansas note.
