Serial Number 1 Winslow, AZ - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National
Bank Ch. # 12581 PMG Very Fine 20.A great Arizona small size rarity, this piece is one of only four small size Serial Number 1 examples from any Arizona bank save for Prescott (which does have two sheets reported) and the only Serial Number 1 note known from Winslow. Last on the market in our 2015 Central States auction, this evenly circulated and solid note is the "A" position example from the first sheet of small size $10s issued by the bank. Its only flaw is minor ink writing on the back which has been lightened.
