Nogales, Arizona Territory - 1902 $10 Red Seal Fr. 613 The First
National Bank Ch. #(P)6591 PMG Fine 12.A classic Arizona rarity, this is one of just nine Red Seals reported from this far western state. However, of that number, one is ensconced in the Higgins Museum and this offering is the only one of the remaining eight to have appeared at public sale in over a dozen years. Fortunately for collectors, it is an evenly circulated and solid note that retains a bold red overprint and dark pen signatures. With most of the other Arizona Territorial Red Seals tied up in long-term holdings, this may be the only opportunity for a collector to obtain one of these Arizona trophy notes for many years to come.
