Serial Number Two Prescott

Low Serial Number 2 Prescott, AZ - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. # 13262 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
The First National Bank in Prescott was one of the shortest lived banks in Arizona. It was chartered in late 1928 and succumbed to The Great Depression by early 1933 when it was liquidated. Aside from a Serial Number 1 $5 uncut sheet that has been off the market for over 50 years, this lovely serial number 2 example is one of only nine single notes currently reported. Bearing number A000002A, this $5 is very well margined with bright paper and bold ink colors.
