Flagstaff, AZ - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 658 The First National
Bank Ch. # (P)11120 PMG Extremely Fine 40.Quite a lovely note, this offering is just about the finest large size reported from this always in demand Arizona bank. Nearly all of the dozen or so Flagstaff large notes known were cut unevenly, clearly by the bank employee working on preparation for signing and issuing. The paper here is bright, with excellent color and bold purple stamped signatures. The lack of any significant folds gives the note an overall appearance that is higher than its assigned grade. There is a minor restoration noted by the grading service.
