Ch. # (S)11233 PMG Good 6.A great Alabama rarity, with only four notes recorded in the census to date. This tiny bank was the only issuer in rural Pickens County and lasted just six years before disappearing in 1924. Needless to say, notes from this community were missing from all of the great Alabama collections from Morris to Loegler. Only one other example from this location has been available for public sale since 2004, according to Track & Price. Tonight's offering is a well circulated, but utterly intact example.
