Description
Vignette. Unsigned vignette entitled "The Guardian," with Bureau, Engraving & Printing imprint, approximately three inches by one and one-half inches, on India paper mounted on card. This vignette appeared on the $100 1863-4 Compound Interest Treasury Notes. Pencil notations indicate the currency use of the vignette by Friedberg designations. Both the vignette and card are in excellent condition.
