The $1, $2, and $200 have been redeemed. The $5, $20, $50, and $100 have not been redeemed and they are payable to the same woman. The Postal Savings System was a way for Americans to save who did not have bank accounts. Deposit Certificates were issued in various dollar denominations and there were also several series. Congress passed legislation for the PSS to stop accepting deposits as of July 1, 1967. Any claims for redemption have not been honored after July 13, 1985.
