Description
Macerated White House "Bundle"We've seen a few of these three inch long, three quarter of an inch high items, and have never been quite sure what they are supposed to represent. It's three pieces of folded over macerated, with a color print of The White House on top, all held together by two pieces of wire. It most closely resembles a freshly delivered bundle of newspapers. Unlike the others we've seen, this one has a label on the back indicating Henri M. Stewart of 347 5th Ave., New York, was the distributor. This is a much later date piece of macerated, apparently from the late 1930's or thereabouts.
