Description
Macerated Capitol Plaque. This three and three quarter inch round plaque shows a stylized Capitol Building deeply impressed into it. This is the scarcer variety with a ring of stars around both the Capitol and the edge of the plaque. It shows rather large bits and pieces of currency clearly throughout its surface. Molded into the back is a maple leaf and the words "Made of Money Destroyed by U S. Treasury. Estimated value $3,000. National Currency Souvenir Co. 1238 New Jersey Ave., N.W. Washington D.C."
