Description
Korean War Paper Items.This lot starts off with two 100 Won and one 500 Won North Korean war bonds; a United Nations/ US Eighth Army safe conduct pass with facsimile signature of General James A. Van Fleet; and seven United Nations propaganda leaflets that includes one duplicate. There is also a propaganda leaflet used by the North Koreans which uses the name, picture, and facsimile signature of Major Leland R. Dunham. In World War Two he earned the Distinguished Service Cross during the Battle of the Bulge. In Korea he was captured on or about July 20, 1950 and then shortly thereafter killed. Several of the items have pencilled comments added by the original serviceman collector. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
