Description
C.S. Kinyon Perfection Check Protector.We see an 1872 patent date and the name on the front is worn, but partially readable. One can do the entire amount for a check in one big swoop with this model. There are seven bars up front with the first one only having only the "$" sign. The other six have ten numerals with "1" being first and "0" being last. Pull the bars to the appropriate numeral, slide in the check, push down on the handle, release the check, and repeat with the next check. However, this example's characters do not work. The wooden handle is loose, but present. Ornamentation painting is found on three sides and is in good order, except for one area on the side that has worn off. Dimensions are approximately 7.5 by 3.25 by 6 inches. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
