Description

B.F. Cummins Co. Model No. 15 Perforating Machine.
A patent date of "Nov. 29 1892" is found on this cast iron check canceller. The perforating "needles" should spell out "CANCEL" when the lever is pulled down, but we can get only the letters of "NCEL" to work. This example does sport original black, gold, and red paint with a very nice pinstripe motif. One can start to recreate a turn of the century (Twentieth Century, that is) bank with machines like this. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
