Description
American Bank Note Company - The American Paper Money Collection 1993.This quality, mounted collection consists of 36 different Proof bank notes printed on acid-free paper from the original plates in the ABNCo archives. Each piece represents a rare note from a different state and the District of Columbia through Montana joining the Union in 1889. Also, a general introduction and a description of each note was written by distinguished researcher and author Gene Hessler. The collection is housed in an archival quality album. These were originally sold by subscription only. Each Proof example grades Gem Crisp Uncirculated, if not better, with four extra broad margins. This collection represents an economical way to add many rare designs to one's collection. In October we just sold another one of these Proof collections for just over $2,000.
